I just enjoyed a delightful short stack of buttermilk pancakes.
Every year IHOP does it. Every year we show up... by the bus-load.
While I was sitting down eating, a White female walked in and looked around in awe. I guess she was shocked to see so many Black people packed in one place sharing syrup. She helped me realize that this is a holiday mainly celebrated by my racial community. After she got over her shock she said
"what is this? Free pancake day or something?"
