We will never forget what happened on this day in the year 2001. Our nation witnessed history. A sad history, yes. But an historic event none the less. Lives were lost in an attempt to crush the American spirit portrayed to the the world's other nations. Innocence lost, families bereaved, a universal mourning.
While we pay respects to our 911 angels, let no one hold hatred in their hearts to the ones who carried out the acts. We can not blame those for what they are taught. Remember, it wasn't a religion's fault, nor a country's fault. Extremists do not represent a whole nation.
We will never find comfort in hating others.
