In this world it seems like one has to walk on eggshells to keep a postive reputation and maintain respect in society. For those like me who don't conform to the many standards of society, it's hard to avoid negativity and criticism. Some people's purpose in life is to defame others' names. Fact of Life: people are going to say what they want, what they believe to be true, or what they want to portray as the truth. Everyone says "don't judge a book by its cover" but we all do it, both conciously and subconciously. We are all judged and characterized based on what we look like, what we talk like, how we move, and how we act. Some judgements are accurate, while others couldn't be further from the truth. In a judgemental and critical society, the only way to discredit the judgements that people have passed against you is to prove them wrong. You can say that the rumors aren't true, but it's your actions that will serve as the ultimate defense. Be careful though, because your actions can also support those judgements passed.

Not only do they have the banging sandwiches and all the munchie snacks on deck, but the dutches are way cheaper than at 7-11! And they open 24 hours, for the win! People like me that never sleep at night need a place like this. Real convenient.

Who said chicks can't ball? If you don't watch women's college ball, you're wack! Congratulations to the St. John's University Women's Basketball team for making it to the Top 25 NCAA Women's Basketball Rankings! The polls were reported and posted on Feb. 1st, and the #Johnnie's ladies, with an 18-3 record so far this season, are currently ranked #25! Look for them to be moving up as the season goes on.
I am so proud of our women ballers... and I enjoy watching them play. The go hard for both halves, and show no weak emotion but the love for the game. Our ladies are thorough!

Mrs. Knowles-Carter has done it! She took home 6 Grammy's last night, becoming the first female in Grammy history to take home that many awards in ONE NIGHT! This only validates everything I have always said about Bey.... she's on another level, apart from the Rihannas and GaGas. So bow down and give respect to the best female performer on the scene. Say what you want about her, but she's at the top. And from the looks of it, she ain't comin down.

Our "1 2 Steppin'" pop star Ci Ci has recently been getting a lot of publicity... mostly blog sites bashing her latest change in style. I'm not goin to bash her because she's already caught enough wreck. Everyone knows I'm all about style, fashion, trend-setting, the whole 9 yards... but I think Ci may be purposely trying extreme outfits to get her name back out on the scene or she's really tryna find herself.
